Create skip links

Skip links are links to different parts of a document, so that someone using a screen reader does not need to listen to all of the text to get to the desired content. They are also helpful for anyone who is navigating a long document and looking for specific information. They may include an option to skip to the main content, to the menu, or to a specified section of content. This feature should use existing skip links or automatically determine skip locations if they are unspecified.

Discussion by Disabilities

Skip links allow screen reader users to jump efficiently to the desired content of a page, bypassing headings, menus, or other un-needed information.
