Polish sign language

A video dataset is collected to improve Polish sign language recognition. Two signers performed 101 words and 35 sentences signs 20 times, this was recorded using a video camera.

This work collects video clips showing Deaf people using Polish Sign Language to create a corpus-based dictionary. Each recording involves two signers reacting to visual stimuli, e.g. retelling the content of picture-stories and video clips, naming an object, talking about themselves, and discussing topics of interest to them.

A point cloud dataset of static Polish sign language fingerspellings is collected to advance research on automatic sign language recognition. Unknown number of users performed fingerspellings for 16 Polish sign language alphabets, this data was recorded using a 3D Kinect sensor.

A 3D video, point cloud dataset is collected to explore sign language recognition using skeleton tracking and hand skin recognition. A single participant performed 84 signs 20 times, this was recorded using 3D Kinect sensors and the point cloud data was collected.
